Absolutely love the Wexford House !! It's the best long term care facility in the Tricities !!! My Mother is taken care of very well !!

Food is terrible. These patients deserve food that you would eat. Food was cold and French fries so tough you couldn't bite. Please do better. These patients deserve better.

Nice facility, great attentive staff. The room is very clean and tidy. Very nice

Wexford is a wonderful facility. The staff are very friendly alf hard working! There are new activities every day!

The staff here is amazing and very friendly as well as helpful. The building itself is very clean and very well kept. I have worked many places and this facility is proably the cleanest facility I have worked in. I feel the nurses and cnas really care about the residents ,also the nurse practitioners here are amazing and are always available for any issues that arise and are very quick about doing what needs to be done.

The moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure each resident feels comfortable, respected, and cared for. The facility is always clean and well maintained.

Wexford House welcomes you with warmth and compassion from the very first moment, beginning with a friendly greeting from the caring receptionist. The devoted nursing team, along with the diet, activities, and therapy departments, are genuinely committed to supporting you with kindness, understanding, and heartfelt care.

My review was taken down but please, please don't sent your loved ones here. They let my mom get thrush so bad that she couldn't even move her mouth or open it, infections and so many more issues. When she passed away they didn't contact family but contacted a funeral home for her to be cremated and then when I went down there they told me she passed away and they didn't know where she had been taken. I had to contact resources. I work in healthcare but also had the help of friends, family and my pastor. We found her but she had already been cremated. You need to ask yourself why they wouldn't contact family. They told me they donated her belongings and special items including her jewelry etc. Oh and let me rewind some also. When she was first transferred here they lost her license the same day. I should have taken it but I foolishly was naive. In this process after my mom passed away, they tried to go behind me and said they changed her POA to my aunt who was not even living or living in the same state. How does this happen? I didn't even know this happened until my aunt's son contacted me from Alabama explaining he received bills. My aunt was living when my mom first arrived to wexford house but she was very ill and didn't have long to live and she was going through Bipolar disorder and not mentally capable. She had passed away by the time my mother passed away. I was my mom's only support and yet they went behind my back to change her POA which is beyond sketchy and I was never told the entire time I was the only one visiting my mom there. My mom didn't even keep in contact with her half sister. She had insurance and I was able to fight this part of my cousin getting bills in the mail and have it resolved but it was very suspicious. I could go on and on but I don't have time to go into all the issues. My mom shared a room with someone else and I saw them leave a bed pan under her and it was hurting her and she was crying and getting my attention. It took me way too long to find a nurse and to get one to come in the room. It was an hour to get a nurse to come in the room as there was several outside smoking. Please don't send your loved ones here. Everyone I mentioned happened as described and it's been quite a traumatic experience.
