Brookdale is a wonderful fit for my mother in law. She is very happy there and enjoys all the activities and church services. The staff has been so kind and welcoming. Knowing she is well taken care of gives such a peace of mind. We are grateful!
I've been really pleased with the memory care my dad has received at Brookdale. The staff is very friendly and attentive to his needs and it gives me peace of mind knowing they are taking good care of him. It also really does feel like one big family when I go to visit. As far as the cost, memory care isn't cheap but Brookdale has been a bargain compared to what we're paying for nursing home care for wife's mom and the quality of care at Bdale is so much better.

This was better than expectations. The staff is very friendly and happy to help in any way. They really try to engage all the residents in memory care to help them feel happy and safe. The rooms are kept clean and there are many activities that are planned just for them. It does take time to make this kind of decision and time to adjust. It we are very grateful we found Brookdale Colonial Heights. It is an answer to prayer.
What we like the most about Brookdale Colonial Heights is the friendly staff, their personal attention and that the food is mostly good. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale Colonia Heights to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
We found their staff to be very responsive when we had questions or concerns. My mother seemed happy while she was there. I'm now moving my mom from that facility to a place closer to me so really don't have more than a couple of months of experience with them. It's a smaller and older facility so it doesn't have some of the amenities that are in larger ones. I think there is benefit to considering Brookdale because it is smaller and a little more intimate than a larger facility
I liked Brookdale Colonial Heights very much. It was very clean and well apportioned. It looked like it had a lot of helpful staff. The structure looked great. The room's size was very adequate. The layout was good. It felt cozy and homelike.
There is no place I would rather have my husband. The communication back and forth regarding my husband's care. Staff are attentive and compassionate. They love what they do. The Executive Director and Health & Wellness Coordinator or their designees are available 24/7 to listen and respond to my questions and concerns. The facility is generally very clean. They have medical and psychiatric providers to deliver care on site as appropriate if families choose to use these providers. They have activities and programs available. They have exercise time with light weights as well as hallway walking. Residents get mental and physical stimulation. The Memory Care facility is secure. The facility is pretty
