Our dear mother bought in/ moved into the Village 5+ years ago, and has enjoyed it very much. The staff, service, friends, activities, and food, etc. have been excellent and we've had no problems. She is now >90, and had a fall recently- and though she fractured her a bone, she was able to go the Village rehab for 6 weeks and just moved into a Village assisted living apartment, which is a 1 bedroom -just as nice as the 2 bedroom unit she had in independent living. The Village is also a great place to visit, which my sister does almost every day. I've stayed overnight there many times as well.…

I toured The Village at Germantown; aesthetically, it was nice, and their amenities were equivalent to the community we chose. It had that old-timey traditional décor, it was not contemporary at all. It was very homey and very much aligned with my loved one's liking. The Village has a buy-in, and because my father still has his home, it would have been difficult. Even if he would have sold his home and able to afford the buy-in, he still didn't understand why it cost so much (monthly) after the buy-in. The lady tried to explain that he would receive it back and what the community had to…

It was very homey and very much aligned with my loved one's liking. The Village has a buy-in, and because my father still has his home, it would have been difficult. Even if he would have sold his home and able to afford the buy-in, he still didn't understand why it cost so much (monthly) after the buy-in. The lady tried to explain that he would receive it back and what the community had to offer, but they didn't explain it thoroughly enough or to his liking. Because of that, we chose another community.
I was happy with the care that my husband received here at this community. It is very clean and taken care of. The staff was very attentive and friendly. He was pleased with the variety of meals. They did offer activities for him to participate. I would highly recommend the care and value here to other families.
My loved one used to stay here and we did not like this place at all. The staff was rude and just down right rude to me and my loved one. The care that they provided was not what my loved one needed and frankly could have been better. The experience was not good at all.
