4.4 · 48 reviewsWe initially moved mom into the more independent side of the facility. Mom took a sharp decline about 2 weeks after she moved in. Germantown Plantation starting offering more services and the minute an apartment opened up they moved very fast to get it painted and cleaned for her to move to the fully assisted living side. They are doing whatever they can to ease the transition- both moves. She really likes her OT and PT. The food is very good. Prices very reasonable. Her apartment is convenient for her needs and large enough to accommodate her needs… not a postage stamp at all like some…

We initially moved mom into the more independent side of the facility. Mom took a sharp decline about 2 weeks after she moved in. Germantown Plantation starting offering more services and the minute an apartment opened up they moved very fast to get it painted and cleaned for her to move to the fully assisted living side. They are doing whatever they can to ease the transition- both moves. She really likes her OT and PT. The food is very good. Prices very reasonable. Her apartment is convenient for her needs and large enough to accommodate her needs… not a postage stamp at all like some places I toured. It is taking a minute to get her on everyone’s schedule to take her to meals and such but she’s only been in her new apartment 1.5 days, so I understand!
My friend is at Germantown Plantation Senior Living Community. It's good and very nice. She has a one-bedroom apartment. It's very spacious, it has a patio, and she's happy with it. She can come and go as she wants. They have a lot of activities. People even come in and entertain. They have group things even at night where they will have a special. They have movies almost every night. They have a movie theater, which is comfortable. They have an indoor swimming pool, too. And they have good dining rooms. The food is very good. She loves it out there. She is getting to meet people a lot better…

My friend is at Germantown Plantation Senior Living Community. It's good and very nice. She has a one-bedroom apartment. It's very spacious, it has a patio, and she's happy with it. She can come and go as she wants. They have a lot of activities. People even come in and entertain. They have group things even at night where they will have a special. They have movies almost every night. They have a movie theater, which is comfortable. They have an indoor swimming pool, too. And they have good dining rooms. The food is very good. She loves it out there. She is getting to meet people a lot better than she did before. The place is very clean. There may be a small price for laundry, but housekeeping is included in the rent. And they give out her medication for a small extra fee, which is fine with me. The staff is very good. If my friend has an accident or anything, they come right away. I brought her home the other day and she didn't feel good. I got hold of a nurse, she came quickly and she took care of her. It is very, very good. They have their own doctor on staff. If she has any problems, that doctor would take care of it. If she needs blood work or if she needs an x-ray or something, they can do it there instead of going out someplace.
They take care of everything for my loved one which is very nice. They have a lot of great amenities offered as well. I would recommend Germantown Plantation to others.

Definitely "5" in all categories! The staff...beginning with the receptionist and ending with the director was awesome! Seriously! Everyone including the hair stylist was more than we could have ever asked for!! I love everything about Germantown Plantation...the staff is beyond fabulous! The night nurses were the best as well...don't want to leave anyone out! I would soooo recommend Germantown Plantation to anyone! I'm proud my Mom Is there! Thank you so so much!
We chose Germantown Plantation Senior Living for my mother. She went and reviewed it, and we liked that the facility itself didn't feel overwhelming, but her apartment is very large and spacious. We also liked that it had all a la carte services. So, she could be independent, but if she needed X amount of services, then that was available to her. Another thing that we liked was if things ever got to the point where she needed extended care, then they had an assisted living side. They have a lot of social events. I know they do offer water aerobics. They have physical therapy, bingo, card games, and other social things like that. My mom likes the food there. I haven't had any complaints. The staff is very nice and helpful. Everybody is polite and they're on top of things. I think it's been a good experience. The place is always super clean and nice.
The main reason we chose Germantown Plantation over other facilities we looked at was because they were a fair price and the rooms are a great size. They will nickel and dime you when you need a little bit of extra help Overall I would recommend this facility.
It's taken Mom a while to get use to everything. She's been there a few months and she's starting to get settled in. I love everything about Germantown Plantation...the staff is beyond fabulous! I would soooo recommend Germantown Plantation to anyone! Thank you so so much! The staff have made it such a great experience so far!
