I am a resident here at Jefferson City health and rehab and I am utterly devastated because Management people into my room to pack up my roommates belongings because she went to the hospital this morning. She hasn’t even been gone 12 hours and because she would not have the money to pay a daily fee which is 100s of dollars they are giving her bed away and she has been a permanent resident for over three years. My roommate doesn’t even know this is happening to her because she is ill and in the hospital. When you come here and check your loved one into this facility they will tell you that…

My roommate doesn’t even know this is happening to her because she is ill and in the hospital. When you come here and check your loved one into this facility they will tell you that they want the residence to feel like this is home. Well, they are kicking my roommate out of her home just so they can get another body admitted for the money it’s the middle of the month and my roommate has given her monthly disability check plus what insurance pays to pay for this room for the month yet they wanna try to make us pay when we are sick to save our room when our insurance has already paid our room and board for the month. It’s utterly ridiculous.
Most of the nurses are great. They have taken great care of my family members. We were not happy with one male nurse who had an attitude with us when we asked questions. Other than that, we are happy with the service there
Visit sister in law, take good care of her
Have relative living there. It is a really good place the staff work hard to care with residents.
Food sucks understaffedthe best cna in the building is Adele ia she helps you anytime you ask her and if she tells you she will come back she does what she says which is more than the rest of themshe is sweet and caring
My stay at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center truly felt like being at home. The staff took such good care of me and always made sure I was comfortable and supported. Therapy was wonderful and made a big difference in my recovery. I especially want to mention Tara — she was amazing to work with and always had so much patience with me. Her kindness and encouragement meant so much during my stay. I’m very thankful for the care I received and would recommend this facility to anyone needing rehab or additional support.
I would like to thank Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center for taking such good care of my dad. This is the 2nd time he has done rehabilitation there. My dad is a big jokester. The staff would take time out of their day to go by and joke with him. A special thanks to his NP for helping us get his meds adjusted and on a good schedule for him. Nurse Kim who kept a close check on him and got him out for a lot of the fun activities they offer. Finally Lisa Branner for expediting the process with the VA to get him the rehabilitation he needed. I would highly recommend them and should daddy need rehabilitation in the future- he will go there.
Everybody in physical therapy especially Ginger and Andrea did a wonderful job helping me. The nurse Carol and the CNA Deanna and others I cant recall as well.
