Negative 0 is not an option, otherwise that’s what I’d have given. Research & think long and hard before choosing for a loved one. We made a family decision to place our normally active 83 year-old father after knee replacement surgery. Two days later, we made the immediate decision to take him out of this joke. Grossly negligent in care and compassion (No one ever followed through With the task at hand ) Rude and condescending is an understatement to patients & family, Can’t or Won’t give clear answers, Unprofessional, Disorganized, Demeaning with zero ability to navigate sensitive…

Grossly negligent in care and compassion (No one ever followed through With the task at hand ) Rude and condescending is an understatement to patients & family, Can’t or Won’t give clear answers, Unprofessional, Disorganized, Demeaning with zero ability to navigate sensitive situations, Literally asked who was in charge And the answer was “I don’t know” . I wholeheartedly caution you if you’re considering placement here. All that glitters is not gold And this place is pyrite! ☠️
Just got told someone would have to stay with a loved one if they get up in the night and potentially wander? Thought that was the entire purpose of these skilled nurses constant care living homes? Why would anyone bother living somewhere if they still needed someone else to stay with them when they need it?
My 91-year-old mother has been at The Reserve for nearly 11 months, first as a rehab patient, and then as more of a resident in skilled nursing (care at home is not possible at this time, so the Reserve has been her "home"). I have zero complaints!!!! She is being discharged in a couple days to go to a memory care facility for dementia, and I am going to miss all the wonderful techs, nurses, kitchen staff, etc., that we are leaving behind. They have truly become like family! When mom entered The Reserve after being discharged from the hospital, she was in such bad shape, she couldn't even…

They have truly become like family! When mom entered The Reserve after being discharged from the hospital, she was in such bad shape, she couldn't even roll over in bed or lift a spoon to her mouth due to a compression fracture from a spinal infection. She was on morphine and in constant pain. Through the wonderful care at the Reserve, she walks around all over the place with her walker and enjoys having lunch with the friendly elderly ladies there. Thank you to all of you! You have a special place in our hearts.
I recently visited this assisted living facility to inquire about placing my grandmother, and the experience was nothing short of upsetting. The woman in charge spoke to us in a way that felt dismissive and discriminatory. Instead of welcoming us or providing helpful information, she questioned whether my grandmother would “really” stay there, as if we weren’t deserving of a spot. Her tone made it seem like getting into the facility was some sort of privilege we had to prove ourselves worthy of, rather than a service we were simply trying to explore for my grandmother’s care. We left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Anyone seeking compassionate, professional care for their loved one deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and fairness—unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I hope management takes a serious look at how potential residents are being spoken to, because families in vulnerable situations should never be made to feel this way.
I broke my arm the day before thanksgiving. I was sent home from the hospital without care. Only some visits from home health aides. My background is a director of nursing at a facility in Bellevue. And many years as a charge nurse in a local facility. Because I realized I would not get better with one visit a week I called on my pcp to admit me to a skilled facility. My son reviewed all the local facilities and took me to the reserve. Knowing my background I was very skeptical. However I spent three weeks in physical therapy. I got one on one care. I cannot praise them enough. I elected to stay another four weeks on assisted living so I could continue my therapy. I live alone and couldn’t have cared for myself if I went home. After two months I did go home and continued my physical therapy as an out patient. Their care in physical therapy is individually structured to the patients needs. And your therapist stays with you the entire time assuring you are doing your exercises correctly. As an RN I want to say that facility excels in all aspects of care. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. You have a private bath, tv and phone. The food is like eating a a restaurant. You get to choose what you eat and there food is very tasty. They do a good job of having a lot of choices. Activities does a wonderful job with enjoyable thing to do during the day. The staff is very caring and there to meet your needs. Nurses are knowledgeable and keep on top of your plan of care to take care of you. And last but not least the facility is very clean. I could say more but to sum it up when I need care I will go to the reserve.
Arrived at my wits end. Mom needed round the clock care (broken arm) and me and my wife had done it for 2 1/2 weeks. We were inquiring about respite care and [name removed] had an idea that we should go talk to her PCP and her pitiful one day a week PT and OT. We did as she instructed and after a couple weeks insurance finally approved a stay. The Reserve is top notch, especially their admin and PT/OT. They were the first and only place we went.
The facility itself is amazing. It was pleasant working there. The only thing I didn’t like was how Tamara G the nurse speaks to people. She is so rude and has been reported but nothing is ever done. She needs to learn manners and professional educate.
My mother was at The Reserve for less than a week in January 2025 for skilled nursing and PT. It was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. We were never given a care plan, were told that my mother was un-skillable and that she had to be moved to a different facility. They informed us that if we didn’t private pay, there was a facility in Nashville that would take her but no facility closer would. We did find her a facility in our hometown and had a care plan within days and she was skillable. On transport day, we were told 45 minutes before the ambulance was to arrive, that insurance didn’t approve it so I had to transport my 91 year-old-mother in my car 2 weeks out from 3 surgeries. The aides and one nurse were amazing with my mother, but that is it. After begging for more help with her, we did get a physical therapist that saw potential. That was it. Horrible bedside manner and compassion from a facility for senior care. Don’t let the beautiful facility fool you.
