From the Director of Nursing to the maintenance staff, everyone is absolutely wonderful. I feel so fortunate this is the facility we chose.
The facility is always well kept, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
My mother in law recieved the absolute best care at the Lantern in Powell TN. Every single care giver we came into contact with not only treated her with excellent care, but with the upmost respect and love. My husband and sister in law knew their mother was in the exact place to receive the best care possible. Thank you Lantern for making a hard time not just bearable but loving for my dear mother in law and for our family. I worked here for about a year and a half as a CNA and loved every bit of it. Staff was like family and the Executive Director, Jennifer, would go above and beyond for her employees! If it wasn’t for graduating college and pursuing my degree I would have been more than happy to stay working at The Lantern!
I started working here as a nurse a few months ago . I have to say I truly enjoy working here . I have found that the RA and nurse ratio per resident number is great and I have been impressed with the amount of teamwork at this facility . The compensation is very competitive and the benefits are well above average from most work related insurances. The facility is clean and the management is helpful and supportive. Memory Care residents are a joy and I find that in my 32 years of nursing that I am very happy with working here. I can honestly say I feel like this is the place I want to be . All areas of healthcare can be trying but this building is well organized and keeps this pretty well up to where it should be and I appreciate that . There is no perfect place but we all should strive everyday to make it a great day for our family of residents.
This community is special! It is beautiful, clean and designed to meet the needs of those dealing with dementia. But, most importantly, the staff is caring and well-trained.
The staff and the residents at Morning Pointe became part of our family while my father was there and they helped make a difficult time in our lives better We were able to just enjoy time with him and not have the stress of being a caregiver alone. I'm very happy with the decision of bringing him there and so thankful for all their help.
The Lantern at Morning Pointe is like family to me. The staff has taken wonderful care of my husband Roy. They are very compassionate and professional. I highly recommend The Lantern for anyone's loved one.
