I had a great time entertaining the residents of The Lantern. From Kayce to James and the seniors, everyone was great to work with. There's a reason they're called the Greatest Generation: they are just that. If y'all would be interested in having me back to sing, I would be honored. Five stars.
My sister was in your memory care just a little over a year until her passing a few months ago. I thought your memory care was wonderful. Your workers were all very professional and did an excellent job at assisting the residents. The meals were very good. A couple of our church members are in your assisted living buildings.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting your facility to deliver a presentation to the residents. I was very impressed by the pleasant and engaging environment you have cultivated. I would like to specifically commend Tammy, the activities coordinator, for her efforts in organizing an inclusive and positive session. I recently had the pleasure of visiting your facility to deliver a presentation to the residents. I was very impressed by the pleasant and engaging environment you have cultivated. I would like to specifically commend Tammy, the activities coordinator, for her efforts in organizing an inclusive and positive session. Both Tammy and the rest of the staff were highly attentive, working closely with residents throughout the presentation. It is evident that the facility provides supportive, individualized care, and the family members I encountered expressed great satisfaction with the staff and the resident-focused atmosphere. They even participated in the activity with question throughout and after the presentation. Because of this positive experience, I would be happy to collaborate with Tammy and your facility again. I felt great in donating my time and would do so in future initiatives, as I truly value the heartfelt care provided to your residents. Best regards, Doyle Seiber
I have a dear friend at this facility and enjoys the activities alot. Carla is one of the most caring individuals and cares that the residents are involved in all the activities. Tammy the Director of Activities keeps the calendar full of activities including bus rides, music, arts and crafts and lots of taste testing. If you want a place for your loved ones...bring them to Morning Pointe the Lantern of Lenior City.
The Lantern is a wonderful community. The staff is always friendly, the building is clean and well cared for, and the food is good. James, the Executive Director, is always welcoming and a great resource. Highly recommend.
I chose The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Lenoir City for my sister because of the caring people, the services they offered, the surroundings, its lovely setting, the activities they have for the people, and also the outings they have for the residents. The room is quite adequate. It's just the right size, because she's only expected to sleep there and not spend all day in there. It's exactly what she needs.
As my now 95 year-old mom began to slow down, it became increasingly apparent of the need to find both a safe and entertaining residence for mom to enjoy. What a very difficult decision it was, but I now know that we made the right choice! After almost 3 years living at the Morning Pointe Lantern facility in Lenoir City Tennessee, Mom has said - almost from the beginning - that she loves it there because the food is good, the people are nice and there’s always something to do. What more can you ask for in these golden years of life?? A super thanks to brandi manifold for getting us moved in and to Super Angel Tammy Price!😇😇😇. The professional staff is remarkable in handling the sometimes challenging circumstances. Moms almost three years at The Lantern has been comforting, knowing even though I live a great distance away, she is safe and well taken care of! Gracious angel Tammy sends regular pictures of their fun activities that I am unable to attend including moms favorite part—the animals that Tammy arranges to come visit the residents. From ponies to goats , donkeys to kangaroos snakes and loving dogs, the zoo continues. She even shares her grandson with the sometimes crazy crew! The field trips , games , the fantastic Musicians, dancers and costumed entertainers - they all make frequent stops. With James in charge, Tara as TAmmy’s assistant, great nurse Alex, RAs Carilyn, Emily, Jocelyn brittany, and Kaylee, and others plus , and with Debbie and Trudy up front, it is a remarkable group. Thank you so much for helping Mom make her later years more entertaining, safe and comfortable. I cannot ask anything more. You are the best.
MorningPointe is a wonderful facility. Residents get the attention and care they desperately need. Tammy pours her heart and soul into these residents and genuinely loves them. The activities provided are engaging, and the music is something all levels of dementia patients can enjoy.
