My mom was here two weeks with a stage one bed sore. Within two weeks it progressed to stage four due to neglect. She wasn’t being changed or turned regularly as she should have been. I don’t recommend this place for a dog.
My family member was here for rehab after a hospital stay. He never got to that because when the therapists came to get him, he was still in the bed, having had no breakfast, nor had even been dressed for the day. The therapist would leave but never return that day - and this was a recurring event. In less than two weeks he became very lethargic and when trying to speak was very slurred. I thought he was having (or had) a stroke but no one cared. Their go to for any "off" feeling was that it must be a UTI - not even that was checked out. The nurses and CNAs were arrogant and downright rude.…

Therapy here is wonderful. I loved being here. They got me to the point of being independent again
Signature Healthcare has been an incredible place to send my family members! The administration and nursing staff are caring and supportive of the transitions we have experienced. It's important that I can depend on the team to help my family when I'm not able to be there. It is comforting knowing they will reach out at anytime to update me on new information. The food was great too! I highly recommend this community if you need skilled care and a team who puts patients first.
BEWARE…The pictures online of this facility looks beautiful! Even when you walk in the front door the facility looks clean. However as soon as you turn the corner everything changes. We have a love one who has been there for approximately 2 months now and since then it has been nothing but a terrifying and very sad experience. Her husband has spoken with management but to no avail has anything improved. Our love one has “so call” fallen several times which we’re still trying to comprehend from all the bruises on her. There is also gnats in her room all the time. The staff barely change her diaper on a regular basis and now she has developed bed sores. The wound care nurse never has time to address this issue because she always say she’s too busy. Our love one has dementia therefore some of the nurses, CMA’s staff do not want to attend to her because she may be combative depending on how her mind is operating for that moment or day. Therefore they constantly keep her drugged on medication which causes her to miss meals and as a result of that she has lost so much weight. You do find some staff who are kind and compassionate but that is very few in between so if you plan on having your love one there please do your homework. Let them show you around the ENTIRE facility because some areas do look better than other areas and make sure you visit your love one often because if you don’t the likelihood of them being neglected is 100% unfortunately!! 😔
Went to visit my niece.
I was faced with a very hard decision of choosing a skilled nursing facility for my 90 yr old Mom. I researched several facilities in and around Memphis. I decided to go with Signature Healthcare, because of their superior inspection score. They received an A grade. Apparently, after doing my research, I found out that they were the only ones to get such a superior grade. That means a lot when a facility is clean. I'm so glad I choose Signature, because my Mom absolutely loved it. She was in a shared room, but that didn't bother her a bit. I must say, the entire staff made us feel so welcomed, and made sure my Mom had everything she needed, in her room. Each and every nurse doated on Mom, and that made her stay so nice. My Mom is a night owl, and her greatest pleasure, was rolling around in her wheelchair all day, and after dinner. The nurses and staff quickly understood, my Mom's routine of going to bed, after 10:00 pm. My Mom is big on hugs. Whenever she would hold her arms out, for a hug, from a nurse, they stopped to give it to her. They really cared about her well being. I must say, their food was excellent. Mom never ate so much, when she was at home, but at Signature, she cleaned her plate, each time. They served good nutritional, tasty looking food. If she wanted a snack, no problem. The nurses station had plenty. There was always something for her to do there at signature. So grateful my mom was able to make friends with several residents there as well. She truly enjoyed her stay, and for that, I'm so grateful.
At least three folks I know personally were admitted in 2025 and extremely neglected—one is deceased and one had a sister that was on top of things and the other ended up in the hospital with 24 hour - deathwatch due to dehydration and malnourishment. The last one was there only two weeks and was never given a bath by staff. Their nurses were disrespectful and rude and down right nasty. We had to deal with lies, hostility, eyes-rolling, not acknowledging/non response, open aggression, surly and curt behavior. Please do not take your enemy there, not to mention someone you love.
