They leave syringes and blood all over the patients sheets pillows and clothes I witness several families experience sepsis infections unacceptable care and unprofessionalism at it's best. My mother whom died there admitted to me that the staff were hitting on her in icu she had several bruises and scratches on her.
This place is deplorable. I would not send my dog there. My mother was there in March for Rehab. She stayed 2 weeks and was released. Her rehab plan was sketchy. They were severely understaffed. My mom was not changed or bathed regularly. She stayed in the bed over half of the days she was there because they did not have the staff to use the lift to get her into a wheelchair. They took her staples out of her surgery site too soon without consulting the surgeon. She developed an infection while there. They sent her home with no oxygen, no home health plan or anything because of the holiday.…

They sent her home with no oxygen, no home health plan or anything because of the holiday. They were just horrible. But its really typical of most rehabs in the area. My mom was rushed to the hospital two days after her discharge from this hellhole because the negligence and incompetence. She was in respiratory distress, congestive heart failure and had a raging staff infection in her surgery site. They need to be shut down. DO NOT send your loved ones there!!
KUDOS TO RENE TUDOR AND THE CARING STAFF OF SIGNATURE OF ST. FRANCIS. My mother has been at Signature of St. Francis' as a Rehab patient, and is now a Nursing Home resident of 2 1/2 years. She has received continous quality care, excellent physical therapy, and has even shown gradual improvement during the years she has lived at the facility. Any time I've expressed concern to the Administrator, nursing staff, or dietary manager, my concerns were immediately addressed. I visit my mother often and find a pleasant home like atmosphere exists between the residents and the residents and staff.
