Wonderful place
My wife spent a minute here while she rehabbed from Diabetic Neuropathy . The staff were very nice and caring. The rehab center is very good and the rehab people are very good at their job.
My mother stayed at Patriot for hospice respite care. Unfortunately, her experience was not a good one. She was at end stages of cancer and in excruciating pain. Even though her medicine was relinquished to the facility as directed at the beginning of her stay, for approximately 24 hrs they did not administer her medicine correctly. She was merely given Tylenol which, for a woman who is on Fentanyl patches, oxycodone tablets, and morphine liquid, is basically nothing. Additionally, during her stay one of the staff members refused to give her milk stating they did not have any. We later learned this information was incorrect. Mama was barely eating at this point, and often the only sustenance she was getting was from milk, so to be denied this simple request was cruel. Finally, when she checked out of the facility all of her medicine was not relinquished back to her, specifically her pain medication. Once hospice learned what happened thankfully, her nurse went to the facility to retrieve the medication. If she did not have an upstanding hospice nurse mama would have potentially gone without much needed medication again upon her return home.
One of the best facilities I’ve walked into! My grandfather has had multiple stays at this facility and we’ve had the best experiences with all of the staff assigned to his care! It’s very evident that the staff takes great care of the facility as well. It’s one of the most organized and cleanest facilities I’ve been in! Would recommend 100%!!
Happy with Patriot! My grandpa was there multiple times and had exceptional care. I loved that he has his own room and plenty of space for family to visit. The whole facility smelt great, which I know can be a problem in other facilities. Would highly recommend to anyone needing rehab or long term care needs.
Great facility with caring staff in a beautiful building with secured courtyard and private rooms! Patriot also has a 16 bed memory unit for those loved ones that are dealing with dementia . The therapy and nursing staff are top notch and works with the patients to achieve their optimal goals. With my over 25 years of experience in skilled nursing care Patriot is the epitome of what a facility should be . ❤️
The physical therapy group was amazing they get a 5 star but the staff was another story i was supposed to get a shot for blood clots every night one night nurse never gave them to me at all and i have a history of blood clots upon getting ready to leave i was supposed to have some meds called in( i was there for a broken hip) and a walker sent to my house instead i was sent home with no meds called in and no walker delivered this was a friday afternoon so could not contact a dr upon calling the following day they said it was due to miscommunication and the social worker had quit so i still get no meds or walker until i can contact a dr on mon would not recommend unless just for physical therapy will not go back
Such a friendly atmosphere from the minute you walk in the front door. Therapy department delivers excellent skilled interventions to get loved ones home as safe and independent as possible. Pts and caregivers educated to have knowledge of ongoing home exercise to continue to thrive
