When it came time to find assisted living for our loved one, we weren’t sure where to start or what to expect. Our family toured several communities across the Chattanooga area, and Morning Pointe stood out above the rest. What made the difference? Relationships. Samantha and the team took time to get to know all of us—not just the person moving in, but the entire family and our unique needs. As we got to know the staff, it became clear they genuinely care. Their commitment goes beyond the job—Samantha and others even spend time with senior groups and organizations outside of work because they truly have a heart for serving and making a difference. They educated us, set clear expectations, and guided us through every step. It never felt like a sales pitch—it felt like someone helping us find the right solution. We met AJ, the head of nursing, Chris, and many others. Every visit since has confirmed what we felt from the beginning: this is a team that cares deeply. Morning Pointe has a professional nursing staff, doctors who visit regularly, and a full calendar of activities and outings. Whether it’s something fun to do or somewhere new to go, they’ve got it covered—with heart. And you know what? He loves the food too!
My grandma with Alzheimer’s just moved into her new apartment and everyone has been so helpful with my grandma and with us too. Samantha has gone above and beyond along with all the staff from nursing to the kitchen personnel. I would highly recommend them.
Morning Pointe is the rare example of patient care actually exceeding expectations. My mother’s whole life changed for the better one month ago when the decision was made to relocate her from in-home nursing to Memory Care at MP. Very quickly we saw dementia related anxiety levels reduced as she began feeling secure and happy with the new lifestyle and routines. This is 100% attributed to the commitment of the staff who have made patient care their primary focus. There is continuous interaction with the residents, healthy homemade meals, daily activities, therapeutic exercise; this is an all-encompassing environment for seniors that need additional support. Thank You to all the caretakers at Morning Point at Hixson we are so grateful! 5 + Stars!
Morning Pointe of Hixson is a wonderful fit for Mom. We all wanted Mom to stay in her home, but when safety became a concern, MP was recommended by a health care professional. Things I love for Mom at MP: Lovely, sunlit room with a view Private bath Several gardens for the residents to enjoy Lovely, safe grounds Nice dining rooms Wonderful, caring RAs that take extra care of each resident RAs that really care for the residents Activities to take part in Restaurant visits Ashley, the head of the Lantern area, goes the ‘extra mile’ in meeting residents’ needs and wants Quiet, restful atmosphere Having a total of 16 residents in the Lantern area is excellent RAs know each resident Friends for Mom who enjoy each other
