My 90-year-old mother-in-law was admitted to Life Care of Hixson for rehab after being discharged from the hospital with delirium caused by a severe UTI and pneumonia. She was highly distressed, unable to walk or use the toilet, refused to eat, and showed no sign of regaining her vivacious personality. The nurses, therapists, and support staff at Life Care immediately went to work, treating her with patience, dignity, and genuine kindness. They were not only effective, it was obvious they truly cared about her; they also warmly responded to our requests and questions. Within 10 days, the transformation was an answer to prayers. She was eating again, ambulating with a walker, using the toilet, and engaging with others. My family will always be grateful for the professionalism and dedication shown by the Life Care staff. Thank you for treating our loved one with such exceptional care!
My mom is a resident at Life Care in Hixson TN. She seems to be happy most of the time when I go to see her! She eats good and enjoys her food and I think she is pretty good sleeper too! The nurses and CPA’s are usually pretty good and friendly too! There is always times things could be more to your liking but that is how it is when you run a big organization like that do! I appreciate what do well and they always try and exceed to do better! As far as price goes I don’t know what Mama Dear signed up for and what her charges were and I probably do not need to know at this point in time. Thank…

My mom is a resident at Life Care in Hixson TN. She seems to be happy most of the time when I go to see her! She eats good and enjoys her food and I think she is pretty good sleeper too! The nurses and CPA’s are usually pretty good and friendly too! There is always times things could be more to your liking but that is how it is when you run a big organization like that do! I appreciate what do well and they always try and exceed to do better! As far as price goes I don’t know what Mama Dear signed up for and what her charges were and I probably do not need to know at this point in time. This wax my first visit to this LifeCare facility The property is wonderfully kept. The personnel I interacted with when friendly and easy to talk with. My friend is is there for rehab spoke highly of the staff.

The staff is amazing. Everyone there has always taken good care of my mom and im very protective of her. I cant remember her name but the lady at the front desk is so sweet, my mom was there almost 3 years ago and my husband and I got married and she took our wedding pictures for us. Thank you to everyone for taking good care of my mom.
I had to leave 1 star because u can't leave zero. My dad just spent 19 days here and thank God we was able to come home Monday. This place is the worst it was highly recommended to us by friends and had good reviews but the nurses are lazy and would rather play on there phones than do there jobs. We waited 40 minutes on call light for help to get him off toliet. His bed linens was only changed if we ask for them to be then your lucky if they changed them and got them bed back together at the same time. One time his bed had no sheets for hours and I finally went and ask for sheets and fixed it myself just so he could get out of chair and lay down. He was a Tuesday Thursday Saturday shower schedule and never once was he placed in a shower chair and taken to shower he got bed baths because we gave them to him and never once did the aides offer to help. It took over 2 weeks for the kitchen to get on board with him being.able to get regular tray and not a thickened liquid soft tray even though speech cleared him. If his trays didn't come in evenings by 515-530 we had to go hunt it because the nurses probley at desk playing on phone and tray was at desk or left in cart had to hunt try multiple times. Nurse HEATHER thinks apparently she is a pharmacist a nurse and speech therapist because she didn't want to do his medicine like had been being done at memorial and at home and she wanted to argue over thickening his liquids even though speech had cleared him to have regular diet and regular liquids. None of the nurses know what PRN means he had meds that was only PRN and he received them several times when he shouldn't have which delayed his therapy because he couldn't do it after having the meds. After getting him home it has been discovered he also has bed sores. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody.
Everything was clean and looked nice! They were getting ready for Mother’s Day and everything looked wonderful! Everyone there is so sweet and inviting when we come to visit my mother-in-law. We are so happy that she is there!
Problems when we arrived with front doors but fixed when we left. Nice place
Life Care of Hixson is very pretty and clean inside and has a great staff !
