4.9 · 55 reviewsOverall, very good. Had ups and downs with food service, but getting better. Seems like staffing in kitchen has had inordinate turnover. Maintenance of building/apartments good, except seems to be difficult to get status of resident work orders. Transportation and outings for residents is also very good.
Our family is incredibly grateful for Independence Village, formerly Everlan. Our mom has called this community home since January 2023, and it has been a wonderful experience for both her and our family. From day one, Ava has been exceptional. She is always available to answer questions, address concerns, and truly goes above and beyond to support both the residents and their families. Our family is incredibly grateful for Independence Village, formerly Everlan. Our mom has called this community home since January 2023, and it has been a wonderful experience for both her and our family. From day one, Ava has been exceptional. She is always available to answer questions, address concerns, and truly goes above and beyond to support both the residents and their families. Her leadership and genuine compassion make a noticeable difference throughout the community. There is always something happening, with a wide variety of activities and celebrations that bring residents together. The holiday events are especially enjoyable and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where friendships continue to grow. While the meals haven’t always met our mom’s personal preferences, my siblings and I have enjoyed dining with her on several occasions and have found the food to be varied, flavorful, and well prepared. As a loved one ages it comes with many challenges, but knowing our mom is living in a safe, clean, faith-filled, and beautiful community surrounded by caring staff and wonderful friends gives our family tremendous peace of mind. The breathtaking mountain views are an added bonus. We truly believe she is in the best place for this season of her life, and for that, we are deeply thankful. We highly recommend Independence Village to anyone looking for a caring and supportive senior living community.
Amanda and Ava are amazing! Honestly, everyone is. Give a shout out to Lissa, Melissa, David, Julia, and Terri. Your loved one will be taken with the utmost care. The building is beautiful with a wonderful view to the backside of the property. The food is top notch. Everything my Mother needs is provided here. Lots of Fun and games with so many wonderful residents. This is the place to be.

My mom moved in the 1st week of January. She has made so many new friends that she can’t believe it. That staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. My daughter and I visited the residence in October and from our first visit we knew this was where my mom would thrive.
My Grandmother moved in here and has loved every minute of it. She came from Florida and Independence village made the move remarkably easy for our family. The place is great, the people are great, and she’s beyond happy she made the move.
My parents became residents about 2 months ago, As a child to have to come to the decision of helping your parent make the decision to leave their home and move to independent assisted living is a hard choice. However from the time we walked into the front doors to view the facility to moving them in the staff and Residents have been loving, caring ,supportive and all out amazing. In a most recent time of need we were shown so much support and love from all, from assuring my parents were safe and happy to helping them and assisting in walking the dog to even assuring that us children were feed. As a daughter to know that my parents are safe and happy and thriving in there senior years is amazing. If you are at a crossroads of having to make this decision, please consider Everlan , Sincerely The Maloon Family
Everlan impresses from the first time you walk in the front door… the building itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, but the people you encounter will also give you reason to want to stay. Staff and residents alike are ready to tell you all the reasons they love working/living here. It’s clear that people here are happy and treat each other like family. I’m excited for my mom to become part of this community!
My parents moved into Everlan four and a half years ago in 2020. Living at Everlan in their late 80’s and early 90’s has been a blessing for this season of their lives. My Mom passed away in 2022 and the support of friends and staff at Everlan has been a key element of support to my Dad after loosing a spouse after 67 years of marriage. The staff are always aware if a resident has not shown up for a meal and are quick to check on them to insure their safety. The apartments are roomy with lots of sunlight and provide all the residents could need for this season of their life. Every holiday is a party! Everlan has a wonderful staff that curates a wide variety of events to celebrate holidays, birthdays and really any excuse to bring the residents together for fun and fellowship. They decorate each event in a special and beautiful way. Meals are well organized and very nutritious and tasty while being served in a well organized and lovely dining room where residents also enjoy the opportunity to fellowship over a meal. Weekly housekeeping of each unit relieves each resident of the burden or stress of having to clean their space. I am so thankful my parents, and now being just my Dad have been able to enjoy this season of their life at Everlan. They have gained many new friends and are able to stay active with everything they need and without having to stress over keeping a home. I am so grateful for Everlan!
