Dominion Senior Living of Hixson

Hickson North is truly a wonderful senior living community. From the moment you walk through the doors, it just feels warm, welcoming, and positive. The community is beautiful and very clean, the staff are incredibly kind and caring, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can tell there’s a genuine focus on creating a great experience for the residents and families. Everyone seems happy to be there, and that says a lot. I honestly wish I could give 10 stars. Highly recommend!

We are extremely pleased with the care that our loved one received during his stay at this facility. The entire staff was compassionate and kind and went the extra mile to ensure his needs were met. We highly recommend this facility.

Mom has been here 5 months now and absolutely loves it! Staff are extremely attentive and there are numerous activities for the residents. She loves to call Dominion her home. And we do too!

I went to Dominion Senior Living of Hixson. The facility was beautiful and immaculate, and the lady said that my father's income isn't enough to cover the expenses and they don't take government care. They do have, however, a dementia ward in the back, and the rates were too high for us. So, she took us to the back room, chatted with my sister and me, went down the list of his level of dementia, and told us that he needed to be in a dementia ward and that nursing home state government help. She was very nice and very understanding and tried to help us as much as she could but couldn't offer her facility because I think it was $6,000 a month. We couldn't afford that. It was an excellent facility, and if we had the money then that would have been one of my first choices. It was halfway between my siblings and me, and we would love that. If we can afford it, I would send my father there. It was excellent. The staff were kind, considerate, and understanding. The facility was fine, and centrally located for the dining hall and meeting area. When you walk in, you see the people in the dining hall. One thing was important to me, there was a desk inside the door. So, people were watching as you came in the door, and you could go right there and get help. I felt like that was an excellent quality of the facility. Not only do you watch people when they're coming in, but you watch people when they're leaving. Whether it's good, bad, or different, you know who's coming and going. It was top-notch, beautiful, and clean; probably the nicest facility I have visited.

Care of the residents is PHENOMENAL. But management, Tess especially. Rude. Unfair to employees. But she acts like she cares for everyone. She’s a hypocrite.
