⭐ 1 STAR — I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NURSING HOME!🚨🛑 Starting with the administration, my experience has been extremely unprofessional. Sherell Hogan has been very rude and, instead of providing real solutions, I constantly feel like I’m being told what I need to do regarding my own loved one. Every time I come with a concern, there is always an excuse as to why something happened, but never a real solution or accountability. My grandmother’s coat went missing, along with multiple pieces of her clothing. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about her belongings and how residents’ personal items are being handled. Some of the staff genuinely seem to care, and I appreciate those workers, but unfortunately, too many seem like they are simply there to collect a check and do the bare minimum. I have also witnessed nursing staff repeatedly sitting outside of residents’ rooms while concerns are not being properly addressed. It is frustrating to see people with degrees and professional titles who appear unwilling to actually do the job they were hired to do. Families should not have to constantly ask, call, and show up just to make sure their loved one is receiving proper attention and care. I have contacted the state to file a complaint regarding my concerns. I would NOT recommend placing your loved one here based on my experience. Please advocate for your family members, ask questions, document everything, and pay attention. Again, I DO NOT recommend sending your loved one here! I believe this facility needs to be thoroughly investigated and held accountable. I don’t normally leave negative reviews I usually prefer to recognize places that provide great care but the way my mother and my grandmother (who I am also currently in the process of removing) were treated was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. When I picked my mom up, I was told by the staff at the receiving facility that she arrived wearing nothing but a long dress shirt and hospital socks no shoes, no proper clothing. That level of care is simply not acceptable. The staff at the new facility immediately treated her with kindness, dignity, and respect. They even told me, “Please don’t send her back there,” which spoke volumes. From that moment on, her experience completely changed. They assured me they would take good care of her and they did. Told me also they would miss her and how she’s sweet and the facility was completely wrong about her! They made feel like Collierville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center may was up to something even! No family should ever have to go through what mine has experienced. I cannot recommend Collierville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center to anyone who truly cares about their loved one. Every resident deserves compassionate, respectful, and professional care, and in my family’s experience, this facility failed to provide that. 🚨🛑 Again, I DO NOT recommend sending your loved one here! 🛑🚨 START BACK DRUG TESTING YOUR WORKERS! That may just be real problem!
