At this time staff is leaving in droves. My mother is there an we’re looking for a new home.

The gates half the time don’t open, to exit. So it’s playing the guessing game on which one is going to open.

Great place and staff is always friendly!

I can only speak for Memory Care and it is not good. I highly suggest you speak to other family members before moving your loved one in. NEGLECT NEGLECT NEGLECT . Theyre aware that those with Dementia cant remember anything or can't even tell you what's going on. They pretend to care for them but trust me they don't. I put a camera in my Mom's room which highly disturbed the staff. I have actual footage of them taking personal things , her drinks, snacks etc by those who work there. I have lots of documentation, pictures and video of what really happens there . Multiple times I've witnessed medication handed to my Mom as well as others and the nurse walk off assuming they took the meds but many times they did not or was just left on the table. Want to think they're being fed properly? Show up at meal times and watch for yourself, what you see on the menu is not what they're getting , they get what's left over after assisted living floors get a belly full. They provide 2 snacks a day ? Hmmm . They don't get water either , several are dehydrated and its non-stop with UTI'S. They take your money and turn your loved one into a Sitting Duck who isn't allowed to move off the pee stained couches all day and on into the night . They can't deny a single thing I'm saying I was there ALL THE TIME . I cant tell you the times I propped up against the wall without the fake staff knowing I was there and the so called Christian Activities leader screams at them to sit down. These are folks who could be their Parents or Grand parents and they talk to them like dogs . The Joyrides? Ahahahahaha hahahaha they only allow the same 4 or 5 to participate. Please don't fall for them interacting when you come for a tour, they are prompted to pretend while you're walking around. Trust me soon as you get on the elevator it stops. I have lots more to say and will be glad to tell ANYONE MY EXPERIENCE . They could have a great thing if they would actually hire enough staff , who are properly trained to care for those sweet people things might be better. . They raised everyone's rent and still didn't give raises to the disgruntled employees .Ask the office staff Kathy if she has family living there for a little of nothing !!!! I have several more who feels the exact same way . Do a little research on the number of accidents or deaths(my Father included) if it's public information I'm sure they'll say they can't disclose it due to privacy or whatever jibberish they spew out. I was NEVER AT EASE and trust me I'm justified in my feelings . This place seems to cater to the assisted living but most def ignore the Memory Care . Better keep searching or if you choose Vantage better stay on your toes and if you don't you only have yourself to blame. You folks have a special place in hell trust me , God sees exactly what you're doing , everything in the dark will come to light . Quit telling people's private business because you don't have a single person there who doesn't gossip except a few . Stop telling your employees to not talk to families because they may end up court, well how are we suppose to find out what's going on How about better treatment , pay them a decent wage instead of bringing agency in insulting those who stick by your company and residents . You want loyalty but are you loyal? As a matter of fact maybe the owner will actually listen to me , clean house and start fresh with someone who is actually competent . I pray a new facility goes across the street and shuts yall down. Sketchy sketchy sketchy . I hope all the others whose stomach hurls at the thought of this place gives you a review as well and trust me I can name many who feels exactly like I do. Don't be shocked seeing people stand on the highway holding signs exposing you for what you really are and maybe you'll open your eyes and it will save someone and their quality of life until the good lord calls them home . Pop in , several nights, 1 or 2 are working all 4 floors. Back up generator in case of power outage ? NOPE, Mr. Owner get your butt up here & straighten it out

This place looks beautiful on the outside but the inside is neglect !!! Please do your home work when putting a loved one here if you do visit daily . Come at evening meals if in memory care it’s disgusting. There is one care taker she is amazing but she’s only one !

My mother was there the care was horrible!! To doing her laundry to her meals which were disgusting!!! There is one lady in memory care who dose care but she can’t not be there at all times . Please if you are considering this place do your home work show up and odd times go to meals . I’m just truly thankful my mother is out of there .

Mom is at Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. I love that it feels like home. It's modern. I like the staff, the location, and everything about it. They have been exceptional. They are a great team of people and my mom is adjusting well to them. She's very anxious and they work with her to calm her down. They are getting to know her. They involve her with things and keep her active. She feels their warmth and welcome. I ate some of my mom's meals on Sunday and they looked good. She loves the food and is asking constantly for more. She has a good appetite. So, I think the food is pretty good. It's a beautiful facility. I don't know how old it is. I know it was probably built in less than ten years or so, but it's modern, up-to-date, clean, very nice, and well-kept. They do bingo. They dance with them as a part of their exercise. They have a helping hand where if they want to help fold clothes or do little things with their hands, they do that. Last night, they had wine and cheese. Today, they're doing the Thanksgiving dinner for them as well as with family. They've had Veteran's Day lunch and they take them out to Wal-Mart or appointments if they need to. They keep them active. I looked at some other facilities here and they were well over our price, and the facilities didn't look as nice and the rooms weren't as big as the ones in Vantage Pointe Village at Ashland City. All of their rooms at Vantage Point are private (mom is in a private room). It's beautiful. It's warm, friendly, and at home, and she thinks she's home because she'll sit there with her feet up on the table and say "All you guys come on in". It's very nice and relaxing, and very homely.

The most important thing to me is the consistency of care. They have an established process. The staff is well trained. They are using more agency nurses in the weekend, which concerns me. But they are well trained. They also have had turnover in key office staff, including the director. The seem to have managed that well.
