This is a wonderful facility. My grandmother had the privilege to stay here for a short period of time for rehabilitation. She was always happy, well taken care of, clean and she especially loved the food. It was a great option for her care and it was close to home. The facility was always clean and well managed. They held multiple activites throughout the week for residents. The nurses were always so nice to us and my grandmother. They treated her like she was apart of their own family. Great place for your loved ones to go for short term or long term care.
I wish I could have my loved ones there!
Great clean facility with staff that care about their residents
I've been visiting my sister in law for the past couple of weeks and have felt she was staying in a really nice & caring place until today. She's 83 & had a couple of strokes along with a broken hip from 2021-2022 & unable to move on her left side. Left in her chair for 7 hours and we were told they'd get around to putting her in bed after shift change. Her cousin had to call & "request" they do it ASAP. Not sure why the change in attitude but they didn't even take her clothes off, just shoes
Wonderful, caring people.
I had a family member recently saying here. I recommend avoiding it at all cost! They do not value the health and well being of their residents, they lie to family members about the care they provide and lie about policies that they can’t actually do, more of a scare tactic. Upon a visit there, there were pills on the floor, who knows what kind or whom they belonged to. Their head nurse in charge isn’t a nice person, she doesn’t speak to others nicely nor does she have the capacity for common compassion. For the duration of my loved ones stay, they never treated her properly for her condition, instead they sent her for a transfer to another facility (thank goodness because the root of the problem was finally addressed and treated, properly) my loved one says how nice they are to her at the new facility and how afraid she was at the Trenton location. No one, especially a helpless elder, should be afraid in the care on a nursing home. The whole place is sad, untrustworthy and unable to provide accurate care and treatment.
Unless you're on your last leg, and maybe "MAYBE" one night, find somewhere else to stay. I cannot move independently and had to wait over 40 minutes for help. I'm not sure where my medicine is, I have epilepsy. They stand down the hall laughing and having a good old time. I had chosen here because it is close to my family. If there is a next time, close is not going to matter.
