I can't say enough good things about Sugar Creek Senior Living facility. If I could give a 10 star rating I would. When my mother made the decision to move to assisted living I took her to Sugar Creek for a tour of their facility. The administration and staff were very friendly and informative and were happy to answer all our questions. When she decided to move there the transition was smooth and the staff were very helpful in getting her settled in. During her stay there everyone involved in her care, from the nursing staff to the aides, were absolutely stellar. Communication with the family…

When she decided to move there the transition was smooth and the staff were very helpful in getting her settled in. During her stay there everyone involved in her care, from the nursing staff to the aides, were absolutely stellar. Communication with the family was excellent and the peace of mind for us and for mom that came from knowing there was always someone there to see after her well being cannot be overstated. My mother, who was a Registered Nurse and a state surveyor of healthcare facilities in years past, was very impressed with the quality of care and maintenance of the facilities, and gave very high praise to Jesse, the Administrator, and Tara, the Director of Nursing, as well as the aides and kitchen staff. I know that my mother received the best possible care while a resident of Sugar Creek and I couldn't have been more pleased with them throughout my mother's stay there. Anyone who may be in need of an assisted living facility for themselves or a family member in the Brownsville area should not hesitate to contact the staff there.

The staff is excellent. They are very caring and are treating my sister-in-law with respect and the utmost courtesy.

First of all if I could give 1000 stars I would. My mom went there after the hospital and from the beginning to the end my family could never ever have found a place so caring. These people have compassion for their patients and we looked at them as our extended family. We met with Jessie to get started and it couldn’t have been any easlier than it was. Then when it came to Tara she is the most compassionate person I have met.As time went on my mom sometimes didn’t know me but she would light up like a light bulb when Tara came in but I can’t leave out Jennifer she went over and beyond too.If I…

After suffering a stroke we are able to have our Father cared for a couple times a week during the day to give our mother a break. We could not have asked for better love and attention to him.

I can't say enough about the great care my husband has received at Sugar Creek. The staff provide great care with a genuine dose of love. Service & cake with love is what they provide for resident.

My sister, Susan Eddlemon and I thank you for the excellent care you all give to Helen. She is so happy there. Every employee we came in to contact with is friendly, professional and so accommodating. The food is FANTASTIC! Thank you for making Helen’s 95th birthday a huge success.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

The tour I had of Sugar Creek Senior Living was delightful. We met several people there. The staff was very thorough. My husband had a great interaction with one of the residents as we were ready to leave. For him to be able to talk to somebody was good. It was an older gentleman and we exchanged quite a few pleasantries together. The facility layout was good. The one-bedroom suite was very acceptable. It's out of our range financially right now, but they had everything else that we wanted. They had emergency call services and security. They gave us some gift packets as we left with some notepads, pens, and candy, and that was cool. It was a nice gesture. The one thing about them that I liked was it was very spiritually oriented. They had spiritual plaques and notations and just the overall attitude was very serene. Not that the others weren't, but this was more prominent. I remember seeing things that just reminded you to keep your eyes on things that are more eternal rather than temporal. We saw a beauty shop, and we met the beautician as we were touring. We saw an exercise room. The staff was very helpful. The person that we had the tour scheduled with was called away unexpectedly at the last minute, but she arranged before she left rather than reschedule our tour. She had her assistant take us through. She was as prepared as she could have been. It wasn't something she normally did, but I think she did a wonderful job, so that was impressive.

Sugar Creek management and staff operate in a professional and caring manner. The facility is maintained in an excellent condition. Furniture in the open areas and dining room is comfortable and in good condition. Wall hangings are appropriate for the local area and inspire conversations of events in the past that residents and visitors enjoy. Recently, Sugar Creek has honored groups which provide services for the residents with a luncheon. The fish dinner was delicious! Brownsville is fortunate to have a facility such as Sugar Creek to serve individuals and families in this area!
