No longer in business
It is a good place with very good people. It's just very expensive for anyone on a limited income. I wished they would have had more opportunities to get out or get supplies. However, I was very thankful to have had good, caring people around her.
They are currently for sale so we find out next week if residents will have to vacate by June. Other than that, there are some rude employees and my loved one has gotten sick after nearly every meal. They do not accommodate medical dietary needs such as sugar free or reduced sodium. Breakfast has been the exact same offering every day for the 2 months my loved one has been there. Based off of our experience I would not recommend them because even though it is sufficient care and is a lower cost than others in the area, the potential buyer is only buying the building and contents, not the…
They are currently for sale so we find out next week if residents will have to vacate by June. Other than that, there are some rude employees and my loved one has gotten sick after nearly every meal. They do not accommodate medical dietary needs such as sugar free or reduced sodium. Breakfast has been the exact same offering every day for the 2 months my loved one has been there. Based off of our experience I would not recommend them because even though it is sufficient care and is a lower cost than others in the area, the potential buyer is only buying the building and contents, not the business. So for right now it seems that they will be closing by July 1 and all residents will need to vacate. I personally can't come up with another deposit for another facility so we are completely frantic. I'm assuming others will be too.
This is has been an extraordinary experience for us. It feels like you are in a small country town. Everyone in the community is very nice. The staff have been willing to make arrangements with the family to get items for our loved one. They truly go above and beyond for us. The staff communication with the family has been wonderful! The community even takes the residents on drives and field trips. There are three meals a day served along with snacks. Plus, the residents have choices to choose from. My loved one enjoys the fried fish a lot.
Wonderful place for a love one. ❤️
We had a wonderful tour at Stonecrest. I thought it was a great facility. It was just more expensive than other places we toured.
Awesome place my Dad loved it there, some of the most caring people in the A.L.F. business, they all went above and beyond to help in any way they could. From the bottom of our hearts I love y'all and thanks again for for all y'all did for Dad.
Stonecrest Assisted Living Facility had very wonderful staff. There were only 24 rooms with 12 rooms on each side. Outside every four rooms was a wide hallway with couches and chairs where they can socialize. In the middle of it was the dining area and on the other side was the gathering area where they do exercises. They also had a covered porch area that's really nice. The place looked very homey, decorated nicely, and very clean. The rooms had walk-in showers and nice closets. They looked like nice efficiency apartments.
