4.2 · 17 reviewsI just wanted to say thank you to the entire staff for making my father’s 20 day stay there so pleasant. The food was great, and everyone on staff treated him so well (even though he can be quite hard to deal with sometimes). Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
I wanted to follow-up with a huge thank you to the entire staff at Somerfield. My healing could never have progressed so well if I had been anywhere other than Somerfield. The chef prepared meals were excellent, along the most gracious and courteous staff. Everyone - - the nurses, the dining staff, the assistants, the physical therapy, the meals and the overall atmosphere was over the top. Everyone was most kind and understanding. I wish I knew everyone's name but I don't. The people at Physical Therapy, the assistants who helped me with my care were beyond terrific, and a huge thank you to…

This was a blessing in disguise for my father to have a short stay for rehab. I teased him that he was at the resort! Great care, excellent therapists, fine dining, and a clean facility. We appreciated the care of this team.
I cannot share all of the extremely positive elements of the Somerfield team. I had the family responsibility of finding a facility for the long-term care of this person. During this process we experienced other facilities in our search, nothing compares to the quality of their patient centered care, their commitment to my family member as he confronts life's challenges in his 80's, the depth of their professional resources from medical to social services to mental health, and knowing that I can "trust" them. Somerfield is a very special place for the care of someone you love.

Somerfield is a wonderful facility! The nursing staff there truly cares for their patients, and the activities team goes above and beyond to show compassion and support. My parents will never go anywhere else, because Somerfield is the best care I can provide to them!
Elderly are highly medicated, walking around like zombies ( maybe this is typical of retirement facilities?). Nurse Tina was uncaring, seems annoyed with EVERYONE & hates her job. “Animal hospital” is an excellent description. High turnover of employees. Significantly disorganized.
