The rehab center was clean, had a beautiful foyer, and helpful employees.
My son and I both tried numerous times to get in touch with someone at the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. When I called (several times) no one answered the phones. My son left two messages for information and NO one bothered to call him back. I suggested that my family check into Livingston’s Nursing Home never expecting the response we received. I am proud to live in Overton County. My family has roots here that go back 4 generations. I was disappointed and hurt about the response for help we received. Our loved one was coming from a facility in Williamson County and I was proud to suggest that he be moved here. We feel if a phone call couldn’t be returned or someone couldn’t answer the phone that might be like the care our loved one would receive there. Sincerely Patricia H Comstock
My Grandma lives in the assisted living at this facility. She likes it. It's usually clean and quiet when I visit.
I Would not have expected a more comfortable experience ; being in such a trying time as can be , in an accident at home , resulting in 27-30 days at Vanderbilt with a broken neck, several fractured vertebrae of the spine and more . The Nurses are very nice, and . experienced knowledge are sincerely involved and attentive concerning your needs Also Rachel with Physical Therapy is Experienced, and has the best personality, along with that , always makes PT enjoyable and clear that she is really a true professional. Upon check out and leading up to this goal , aaa Machelle Hope I didn’t misspell, glasses aren’t on. When I left I had all the reports from Vanderbilt, all info on meds . Lady even had follow up appointments scheduled for me . Address , phone numbers.ETC And any equipment , home therapy, whatever is needed Michelle had at exiting . So much information , Man she made iit so easy, Everything All SET Up This trying time in my History was made so easy for me . All on paper , so much important information. Can’t say enough really. Clean and Comfortable Caring, knowledgeable Staff Thanks Guys and Gals! documentation from the test and my condition from 28 days at Vanderbilt
The Cottage is okay, but the livingston nursing home itself is terrible. Elderly found with bruises on their face and the nurses don't even know how it happened. That's what is happening with my grandmother. There's one nurse in particular that's terrible. Paying this greedy nursing home, a person's loved ones should get better care. How about some ambition and love for the patients instead of laziness and incompetence.
Good people
The nurses here are not that compassionate. My grandfather was treated badly. One of the charge nurses threatened to throw him out on the streets. She thought he was healed enough to go home, and he wasn't!
The overall care given is good. But somethings are not as good. My family member has had at least 4 medication errors since she was admitted. I do not believe that they tell the aides the diagnois of each patient, so they will know not to leave them sitting alone while in the shower or on the comode. They need to watch out for these things.
