Lynchburg Nursing Center

My mom was transfered to Lynchburg Nursing home just a few days ago. She is receiving excellent care. Everyone has been so kind to her and me. I so glad she was able to come here.

The staff is very attentive to my mother‘s needs they’re very kind. They keep us updated on any changes to her or her care. They are very knowledgeable. It is very clean. It does not smell like your old school nursing home used to smell and are very friendly. The activities are amazing for the residents there and the out side courtyard faces the countryside, which is very relaxing.

I am wildly impressed with the staff, top down, not only with the general knowledge, but with the awareness of their patients. To add, when someone says they will do something, they do it and follow through, which is exactly the opposite of experiences I’ve had at other facilities. It’s stunning to see how well LNC operates presently. To say the center exceeds my expectations is understating reality.

The staff and administration were extremely helpful to Mrs Melson during her stay. They took care of her needs and medications. She also stated many times how good the food was. Any needs Mrs Melson had were taken care of. The facility also helped with getting her into rehab. The only problem we had was her oxygen levels were not documented causing her to go home without oxygen she must have to it dropping to dangerous levels without it. Insurance will not authorize with out the needed documentation.
