4.4 · 87 reviewsYears ago I was a weekly volunteer with hospice @ Life Care/Collegedale. Presently one of my dear friends is now a patient in the rehab center of this wonderful facility. Still a great place with caring staff! Compassion... is the key to helping their patients to have the hope they need to heal!
Had emergency surgery on my right leg and was in the hospital for a week and a half before being transferred to LifeCare of Collegedale’s Inpatient Rehab facility. I couldn’t use my right leg, however, with Mark and Carrie’s assistance and the other Rehab staff I was able to transition to home much sooner than I ever thought possible. All of the staff are very positive, give wonderful service, and they genuinely care. Thanks to all the management and staff for their attention to my care!
This was my first time to visit my brother since his admission last November. I found the room clean and neat, but his fingernails and toenails have been ignored. I hear he had a haircut last week, but his beard and mustache were totally unmanaged.

The facility is lovely and the VERY skeletony nursing staff is very pleasant, especially considering all the jobs they are expected to perform. In addition to caring for the immediate needs of patients they are also required to pass out meal trays and then also pick them up. During this time consuming chore they are "legally " not allowed to meet patients' needs because of the possibility of germ and infection spreading. My sister had to endure both a wet and soiled diaper during this time span. I have high hopes that the week day and night staffing better meets the needs of patients. Is Medicare aware of this staffing or is it dictating the ratios of staff in each category?
We ran into a friend of ours from church who resides there on the patio! We checked in and another resident in her speedy mobile took us right to our Aunt's room. When we went in the room was clean, quite really nice. We truly enjoyed our conversations with bot residents and staff. It seems like one happy family. We love that for our Aunt. Keep up the good work! God bless you all! 😀
Our visit was very good. George was at the 4th of July party. A lady was asleep in her wheelchair under the awing when we entered. No one was around. She fell out of her wheelchair right before we were leaving and hit her head. This was very concerning to me and my wife.
When we had to move mom back to Life Care several care givers who knew her said welcome back Mrs. B and hugged her. Made her smile. Thank you for your kindness in our time of need.
I appreciate the help the staff the cleanliness and the and the work that they put into making everyone feel comfortable. I like the fact that I can bring things in for my mom like flowers and blankets and pajamas and candy and food I like that so I thank you very much for your service.
