Lakeside Senior Living Community

Lakeside Senior Living has been such a blessing! My mother is 88 years old and I always thought of her never leaving her home, but then with several falls and broke hip, we knew that wasn’t gonna be possible! My mom has been at Lakeside for 1 1/2 years now, and from the moment we first brought my mother through their doors, they have treated not only my mom but all of us like family! The staff is kind and loving to all of their residents, I am through their doors at different times of the day or night and they are just so welcoming and caring! I enjoy seeing the staff involved with the residents in all kinds of activities and gatherings! They truly make it feel like they’re home! So thank you Lakeside Senior Living in McKenize for all you do for your Residents and their family!

My Mom has been at Lakeside since June 2022. We have been delighted with this facility. The staff is very caring and attentive to the residents and create a strong sense of community. We have been impressed and comforted by how the staff has gone over and beyond in meeting my mother's daily needs. My Mom says it best "if you can't be at home this is the best place to be"!!

My mother-in-law has been at Lakeside for several years and she totally loves it. We are happy with the all the staff, including kitchen and the cleaning staff, and how they make sure very one is enjoying life. We eat with her and the meals are always great. The atmosphere and the surroundings make everyone feel their best. We have been care givers for other residents and moved them to Lakeside due to the great feeling of renewed life the entire staff brings to them. Chris does such an amazing job to meet not only the residents needs but also the family needs. Lakeside Senior Living is such a blessing this entire community

Lakeside Senior Living Community is right above the lake. It was clean and nice. Everybody was super nice and they went over the activities that they do a month, and where they take them on a bus and do things with them. The activities change day by day. One person takes them to a room and they do different things. We talked to all the patients who were in the activity room that day, and they've been there for over a year or two, and they're happy about living there. The staff was good. They were upfront about everything and answered all your questions. They were really good. The rooms were a good size. It was kept up very well. We spoke to several patients who live there, and they were very content and happy. Some of them had their homes still, where their children would come by and pick them up and take them out to their home so they could spend all day at their house. They showed us a laundry room, they had a beautician there, and then the movie theater where they made popcorn and all that.

My parents just relocated to Lakeside and I have been very impressed with everything there. It is a smaller community than the one they moved from which is great since my dad has dementia. The staff is very attentive and check on them if they don't come down for a meal. Their apartment is spacious and the view is great with lots of deer, turkey and birds to watch. It is a peaceful and happy place.
