Etowah Health Care Center

My mom was admitted April 16, 2026. I struggled with this because I did not leave close. I have to say the nurses (yes they are short staffed but they still did good), the CNA's and office staff (shout out to Angie in finances) we're great. A lot of care goes into what they do. They all work hard and care deep. I am extremely grateful for them and the care they gave Mom. They found a way to keep her from falling out of her bed within their limits. I saw women working hard to keep the patients safe and as comfortable as they could (even with one patient yelling CONSTANTLY). I saw first hand the care they had for her and I am grateful to them. Sadly my mom passed away July 8, 2026. A few short months of being there because of her health. I appreciate all the staff there and thank them for their kindness and compassion.

Absolute worst facility in the area. I was told at first that it was a good facility and boy was I misinformed not only was she not well taken care of they changed her medication without notice no matter how much I pleaded and begged and demanded they wouldn’t give her medication’s that she was supposed to have by the time they were done she was somebody I didn’t even know and I wasn’t in a financial position to really do anything about it and nobody would listen. The nurses were sweet, but the staff in the front office were extremely rude and when she passed away the money in her personal account mysteriously disappeared when I know she had well over $2000 saved that could’ve helped pay for her services because she didn’t have any health insurance because she cashed it in to take care of her grandkids when she was in her right mind . So now that that’s just the tip of the iceberg, but I absolutely suggest you do not even think about letting your loved one or anybody else go to this horrible facility!
