Cordova wellness and rehab was EVERYTHING I expected and needed for my mother's journey. The entire staff was kind polite and professional. It all began with Mrs. S. Jones, Admissions Coordinator. Her kind and reassuring words during her check in made our choice undeniable. Each step was covered in detail. Everything she covered during our meeting was encountered during her stay. All of the Nursing staff cared for as if she was the only patient. Their Social Workers made sure all of her care after her stay was met. Verifying with insurance to make sure her aftercare was the same as her stay…

The Advance admission was very professional. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable. The facility is really nice and clean.
My mom was recommended to go here post stroke from the hospital for 3 weeks. After reading several reviews I was skeptical about it but it was my first time dealing with something like this. She arrives my family and I are they constantly all day until midnight, how about we leave and before we could get back these people has let my mom fall out of bed during a diaper change! My mom had to be rushed back to the Er with knots on her head. There was one nurse changing her and my mom says she pushed her out of bed, which of course has no rails. Per negligence. Check in was seamless. Staff very professional. Overall a great visit with a family member whom is there doing rehabilitation.
Placement in room from hospital was quick, easy and very friendly.
My grandfather is 88 years old. Earlier this year, after having his leg amputated, his surgeon recommended that he be transferred to Cordova Wellness & Rehabilitation Center so he could learn how to adapt to everyday life and regain as much independence as possible. My family trusted that he would receive the care, dignity, and respect that every patient deserves. My mother was by his side every day, helping him through one of the most difficult times of his life. Unfortunately, she became sick and had to stay home for a few days. During that short period of time, my grandfather’s belongings disappeared. His teeth, wheelchair, clothing, and other personal items were all missing. When my mother began asking questions, no one seemed able to provide answers or explain what had happened. We were eventually told that Cordova Wellness offered my grandfather $500 for his missing dentures, which cost approximately $1,500, along with an old used wheelchair as a replacement. The wheelchair that was taken was actually my mother’s brand-new wheelchair. We were also given what felt like nothing more than an apology. The emotional impact of this situation has been devastating. On June 8, 2026, my grandfather chose not to attend my wedding. It wasn’t because he didn’t want to be there or because he didn’t love me. It was because he was embarrassed. He felt ashamed that he had no teeth and was left without the wheelchair he depended on. Instead of celebrating one of the most important days of my life with me, he stayed home feeling defeated and humiliated. That pain is especially difficult for me because my father passed away when I was 20 years old. Since then, my grandfather has been one of the most important people in my life. He stepped up when I needed family the most, and I wanted him standing beside me on my wedding day. Because of everything that happened, that opportunity was taken away from both of us. Beyond the missing belongings, we also experienced serious concerns regarding his care. My grandfather was prescribed medication that appeared to cause severe hallucinations and confusion. We repeatedly expressed our concerns, His doctor took him off of them, yet the medication continued to be administered. There were numerous occasions when he fell out of bed and remained there for extended periods before receiving assistance. There were also multiple hospital visits related to his condition and the side effects he was experiencing. I am sharing this because families deserve to know what our experience was like. No family should have to worry about a loved one’s belongings disappearing while they are trying to recover from a life-changing surgery. No elderly patient should lose their dignity because of circumstances that could have been prevented. Most importantly, no family should be left without answers when something goes wrong. My grandfather deserved better. Our family deserved better. I hope by sharing our experience, accountability can be taken and changes can be made so that no other family has to go through what we have endured.
My grandfather is there getting rehab to relearn how to walk and they’re great with him so far!! I’m pretty happy with service received so far!!
I would not recommend this facility to anyone. My father was admitted to Cordova Wellness and Rehab after major surgery for a short rehabilitation stay. During his time there, I repeatedly found signs of neglect, including being left in soiled diapers for extended periods, bedding soaked with waste, unanswered call lights, missed or delayed medications, and staff disregarding his medical needs and comfort. On multiple occasions, I found him cold, in pain, unable to reposition himself, and unable to access food or basic necessities without assistance. I raised these concerns directly with management and documented what I witnessed. Unfortunately, the issues were serious enough that I removed him from the facility, and he ultimately ended up back in the hospital. If you are considering this facility for a loved one, especially someone who is elderly, recovering from surgery, or unable to advocate for themselves, I strongly encourage you to do thorough research before making that decision.
