3.4 · 32 reviewsTotal incompetence! I would not recommend this place to anyone. My precious brother caught Covid- 19 not once , but twice. He also contracted Sepsis , not once but twice. Which last episode took his life! Anytime you question or ask how this can happen, they always manage to put blame on patient somehow. Yes, my brother had dementia, but that's no fault of his to be allowed to get UTI's constantly . This is from poor care ! Unsanitary conditions! Which I witnessed several times during visits. Yes! Im angry! Most of all, Im hurt and disappointed my brother had to endure all he did for years…

We are so pleased with the love and care my mother receives at Buchanan Place! The staff are amazing! Very loving and caring!
Lazy cna’s Noah is a lazy nurse, whenever Ive visited my family I’ve seen other residents soaked in urine, he is rough and mean to them. The other nurses seem lovely except him. Step up Buchanan place.

I have to say this is a wonderful place to take care of your loved ones . My husband had to be placed in a nursing home . This was the first one I called here in New tazewell. I didn't know what to expect when I got there . I hoped it would be clean and the people caring. Well I'm very pleased with the care and the people that work there I can't say enough about it . It's very clean ,I highly recommend this nursing home . Thank you Buchanan very much . God bless you all .
I've been here for over 2 years I've seen six admistrators come and go, no communication with staff -food2 and if you don't have anyone to help you get a place to live your stuck 💯 This place honestly needs to have a complete fix and God knows it will take a miracle. Just being honest with you folks. Have a good day 🤠
The workers seem to care. They do their job to the fullest. They have been working on up dating the building. Over time it will be like new. Love this place.
I was sent here for rehab on both my knees that was badly broken in an accident. I was treated like a king from day one. I could not even put weight on my legs when I got there now I'm up and walking with a walker and feeling great. They are the hardest working people in the world. It doesn't matter who you have contact with from the nurses or the c.n.a.'s they all are caring and hard working people. I never wanted for anything they took care of all my needs every day. I'm so glad I was sent here they help me so much. I highly recommend this place and the rehab company.
