My Sunday School Class works with Beverly Park and help whenever we can. Susan Smith and staff are so loving and caring for all the residents and works to make them happy and involved everyday. They are top notch in all they do...first place to have a handicapped park so all residents can enjoy, YMCA day care children there interact with the residents, day trips they go on, arts, crafts, entertainment, learning new things, Bible Study class twice monthly, the list is long! A very special place ❤️
Liberty, Kelsey and Andrew were great! However, Patricia goes above and beyond. She’s THE BEST! I was so heartbroken when my aunt suffered a stroke and needed rehabilitation, I was worried until I met Patricia, she made my aunt and I feel like family, while keeping all information forthcoming and professional! Great job 👏🏻 Beverly Park Place! We recommend!
The facility has some good employees, but the administration and the front desk are horrible. They violated the hepa laws, and they put my wife in danger with total disregard. I tried to talk to them about it several times they said that they didn't really care that the hepalaw is required certain standards about access to the patients repeatedly. All three of the ladies at the front desk and the administration made this very clear in a recorded phone conversation, also.
This hellhole should be shut down!!! Left my immoble mother lying in urine for over 45 minutes. Her requests for her pain meds, which she needed every three hours, went unanswered for too long. She says there are nice people there, but there's no excuse for this.
My wife who has Alzheimer's was at this facility for rehab after surgery. As it turned out this facility was dirty, lacked sufficient staff to provide timely needed care, and was unresponsive to questions or complaints. In most cases response time to nurse's call buttons exceeded 20 minutes, with several getting no response. To add to the insult of poor quality care and dirty conditions was the loss of personal effects such as clothes, shoes, and eyeglasses.
My sister was recently in the rehab part of Beverly Park Place. She was not very happy to not be in her home, but the patience shown to her was outstanding. I truly saw compassion extended everyday from all that worked with her. The food was a great improvement over the hospital she came from, as was the nursing care. Anything she asked for they made sure she had. I would recommend Beverly, without hesitation, 100% of the time!
Exceptional PT, OT, and Nurses on the Rehabilitation floor. The CNA’s do an amazing job caring for the daily needs of patients. My mother was there for over a month rehabbing a broken pelvis. I could not have been more thankful and appreciative of the great care. Two very special people were Gabby and Leslie who made extra efforts to push my mother and get her to do what was necessary to improve. The whole CNA staff did an amazing job of being patient and loving on my mother. From maintenance folks to the activities director, they all helped my mother in some way. David, the social worker, was very helpful and never turned me away. The nurse supervisor, day and evening shift, kept me informed. Dr. Gillespie is thorough, very responsive, and an exceptional doctor. She identified some needs my mother had that sped up her recovery.
Recently, I had dealing with Beverly Park Place for the Rehabilitation side of their overall services. So, for the paperwork part of it, it was fairly straight forward. The initial entry was quick and easy but the finer details were not so easy. For example: 1. Getting the Service Animal paperwork to the Activates Director. 2. Communications from the Outside world to anyone inside the facility in regards to specific care issue. If you go in person to talk with anyone in charge, it is like a ghost town. Other issues that I found out from the patient that I am connected too. The Food is terrible, for example: 1. Breakfast there is a very small variety to select from. 2. Lunch is 1 thing or the other, like a Friend Chicken patty or something else. 3. Dinner was a small variety to select from, a Potato or salad or chicken patty. I would have expected better. The Staff meaning the normal folks you would see and speak with, meaning LPNs, CNAs, Janitorial, maybe PT or OT folks, were very friendly and always courteous. I did like the idea at the entry where you had to sign in and out. But all the facilities do that now, which is a good thing. Other observations from my trips to Beverly Park Place. The Grounds are well maintained. The parking leaves a lot to be desired. There are 3 Handicap spaces in the front parking area. The closest one to the front door has a staircase (4-5 steps) right in front of it. But you can go 40-50 feet to the left or right to get around the staircase. The Main Lobby is bright & open, there is a lot seasonal decorations in the lobby which makes it inviting. However, once past the lobby, the seasonal decorations do not existing, it is very drab and not personality. Looks and feels like a hospital. The patient rooms are spacious unless you share a room with someone else. The facility seems very clean, janitorial services does a very good job. Wheelchair accessible The Staff (the ones you see) are friendly & helpful. Leave us a Like (below) if you read the review.
