4.3 · 162 reviewsI am thankful for the compassion and attention to care American House provided to my Mom. Marquita (Director) gave me good advice and helped me understand my Mom's care needs. Nurses Tamera and Tonja did a great job taking care of Mom's medical and emotional needs. Nurses Chance and Smyla provided additional good care during the day. Tanya helped get Mom to participate in planned activities. Josh kept Mom's TV going! Karen took great care of Mom during the night. The staff always quickly responded to my request for care and for advice.
Great amenities and exceptional staff made the decision easier.
After visiting several communities for my Mom that has Alzheimer’s I choose America House. The first thing I noticed was how clean and well maintained the facility was. It’s a smaller community and very personable. Everyone is very pleasant and welcoming. Corey is the man and definitely was the major contributor to my decision. It was a tough decision to make but one I haven’t regretted one bit!

I want to make a heartfelt thank you to all of you that took great care of my husband for a little over a year. My husband was on hospice in last two weeks. We had the horrible weather here in TN and no family could get there plus the hospice nurse Erika who was unable due to the weather. I want to recognize the very best that were there for my husband. Marquita the Ex Director, for having the are best people there during this time. Especially Maria, Martha, Marta, Brittany, Melissa. Nurse Chance (who never left his side). Also Demetrius the activity director. They all loved on my husband from the first day🥰
I find the first of the year rate increase excessive, they have improved the building considerably and do have periodical meetings asking residents how they can improve which shows interest. However, many of the complaints are about the food and it has not changed. Overall, outside of the price, it is good. Part of their success is due to the size of the facility which allows attention to detail and efforts to make it a "home".
I have recently been searching for a new assisted living facility for my nearly 90 year old mother. My experience with American House in Hendersonville was absolutely best in class. My mother has been in assisted living for over 5 years and it had become time to get her closer to family. In my search, I visited 9 different facilities. I looked for a clean place with happy and well taken care of residents. Let me say that the staff greets you with the warmest welcome you could ask for. They listen intently to make sure they get to know both the resident and the family. It’s easy to see the care that is taken in every detail to make sure the residents are provided with everything needed for a safe and active environment, with a little extra love on top. You can tell that every person who works at American House from Director to Maintenance, loves each resident like family. I’m by no means in need of assisted living yet, but when I get to that point, this would be the place for me.
This is an amazing piece the people that work here are super sweet and very attentive, they have so much care and they love the residence so much.
My husband was admitted to the memory care section of American House. The staff are all so caring and are never too busy to answer my questions. [name removed] is well cared for, I made the right decision when I chose this facility. I would highly recommend American House.
