My church does service there every first Sunday, and the joy on the residents’ faces speaks volume. They appear well cared for and content. That is the mission of caring for seniors. Hats off to the residents, working staff and administration at Ahava! God Bless you all!
I was able to go into a nursing home and talk about Jesus Christ. We talked about the parable of the sower. Mark 4:1-20 KJV
We shared our talents with the Ahava residents today. We played guitars and sung songs. We had the residents sing along with us. A BLESSED time was had by all!!! 👍👍

After experiencing another similiar facility in Clarksville what a pleasant experience! Everyone was so friendly! My family member was in extremely good spirits mentally and physically. Bathed. His possessions in order. Busy with therepy and activities. Making friends. Our family is very happy with the situation.
The staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure I had all my questions answered. Everyone was so friendly and upbeat. There was no unpleasant smell, which was a bonus.
Do not place your family member here. My mother's teeth were LOST and then they kept picking up her plates of uneaten food, never bothering to notice because SHE COULDN'T EAT WITHOUT TEETH. She returned home without all of her belongings, none of her toiletries, and no teeth. After being advised my mother was being discharged into unsafe conditions they suggested I pay the extra $1200 a month she would need for assisted living. They cut a care plan meeting short because they didn't like my attitude when they falsely accused me of asking them to falsify clinical records. What I asked was that they ACCURATELY document the patients condition for proper insurance evaluation. These people were HORRIBLE to deal with, and some staff asked for my mother's phone number and if they could call her after discharge, HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE. The state has been notified and proper actions will be taken.
My wife just got admitted to the facility and we were impressed with the atmosphere of professionalism, friendly, knowledgeable, and thoroughness of her initial briefing. We are optimistic that her rehabilitation will be productive in achieving her mobility goals.
